Support for Individuals
Workplace problems related to neurodiversity can be challenging for individual employees and workers with nowhere to turn.
Common examples include the following:
- Bullying or harassment at work in relation to neurodiversity
- Performance management or personal improvement plans where the issues relate to neurodiversity at work
- Invitation to a disciplinary investigation meeting
- Disclosing neurodiversity or wanting to plan a strategy for disclosure to an employer
- An employer refuses to make reasonable adjustments or does not accept neurodiversity is a disability under UK law
- Preparing to submit a grievance in the most effective way

Usually there is no support in the workplace unless you are a trade union member. This creates an imbalance favouring the employer.
